How Our Senior Pictures Process Works
Reserve A Session
The first step is reserving a date for your senior portraits on my calendar. All portrait sessions for senior pictures in Kansas City and the surrounding communities are photographed outdoors and on-location. We are not offering indoor studio sessions at this time.

Fashion Consultation
After reserving a session on my calendar, I will schedule a fashion consultation. This is where we get to know each other and I can learn more about you and how I can make your senior portraits reflect who you really are.
We will discuss hobbies, interests, senior pictures Kansas City or surrounding area locations, & plan out your entire portrait session. What to wear .. How to prepare .. Can you bring a friend? All your questions and concerns will be answered.
I typically advise every senior girl to have professional hair & makeup done the day of their senior portrait session. Models do it .. Brides do it .. Seniors do it too!
Senior Portrait Session
The big day is here! … No worries … No Stress … All you have to do is have fun!
Don’t worry about posing or not knowing what to do with your hands .. I got you! You will also have your own popup changing pod for outfit changes. I’m not letting you switch outfits in your car or a public restroom .. that’s just creepy.
I will have everything you need from cold water bottles & bluetooth speakers to bug spray & sewing kits, just in case a button pops off or a swarm of mosquitos attack.

A sneak peek of your senior portraits will be shared with you within 24-48 hours. Following that, an online ordering system will be made available for you to select your favorite poses for your Digital Collection and any Printed Artwork that you would like created.
For Digital Collections, I will provide you with links to our preferred printing vendors who allow the general public to order prints. If you wish to upgrade to professional print products, you can order them through my professional lab.

ASAP – Senior Pictures Are Limited! … I shoot a limited number of seniors each year and those sessions can fill up fast. While I would love to be able to photograph every senior … time is my enemy.
Can I Bring A Friend To My Portrait Session?
Yes !!! Friends make the senior portraits experience even more fun. I will even grab a quick portrait of you together. Keep in mind though, this is your day and I want to focus on capturing senior pictures of you.
Can I Choose A Custom Location For My Senior Pictures?
Yes! However, I like for my seniors to keep in mind that the locations I recommend our handpicked based on years of location scouting. If you have a spot in mind I can make it happen but I also won’t sugarcoat it just to get your business. If the location you suggest is a bad idea, I’m going to tell you exactly why from a professional photographers perspective and let you make a well-informed decision. My number one goal is producing images that you will absolutely love!
Do You Offer Indoor Studio Senior Pictures?
I am not accepting studio sessions at this time. All senior pictures are captured on location. I proudly serve west-central Missouri and the entire Kansas City area.
This includes Sedalia, Warrensburg, Clinton, Warsaw, Windsor, Lincoln & Cole Camp.
Kansas City locations include Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Overland Park, Lenexa, Olathe, Belton, Raymore, Leawood, Shawnee, Mission, Independence, Raytown, Liberty, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Grandview, Claycomo, Gladstone and Platte City.
